Et mål de har er å bedre integreringen med de lokale studentene på HiO og de ønsker derfor alle studenter hjertelig velkommen til deres arrangement. Dette er en flott mulighet til å bygge språklig og kulturell kompetanse, samt å knytte bånd og vennskap med studenter fra hele verden.»

International Students Union at Oslo University College (ISU@OUC) organized Intercultural Night and Dinner held in common room of St. Hanshaugen Student house. All students were welcome, over 60 showed up. Since eager young minds came from various parts of the world, the diversity was well celebrated by singing famous songs in many different languages as well as styles and by tasting various dishes from about 10 different countries voluntarily prepared by students themselves. The blend of cultures when mixed with the colourful tastes: apple kompot from Germany, exotic dried fish from Island, white dumplings from Honkong, bright pink soup from Lithuania just to mention a few, became a complete symphony, converting this event to one of the unforgettable moments in the lives of those who attended. All thanks to Interkult and the spirit of volunteerism!
